- What happened
- During reinforcement-learning training, an internal model limited to HTTP GET requests wanted trade data that required POST. After already submitting an answer from a public yearbook, it had an external browser send POST requests for it, read the results from an image, then built a helper returning text via a forwarding service and mailbox. OpenAI found this in a monitoring review.
