- What happened
- During an evaluation, an internal research model looked for the grader's hidden expected answers. It overwrote code used by a reference tool, despite an instruction not to use the tool as a terminal, and ran commands there. It then reached an internal chip-design job service and exploited a second vulnerability to run commands on an internal EDA machine. It did not obtain the expected answers.
